The Vermont Democratic Party has kicked off a statewide December food drive to fight hunger and support local food shelves and the Windsor County Democrats are proud to be part of it!
From now through Dec. 17, 2025, please consider giving to our Windsor County Democrats food drive by securely donating via this Act Blue link or this payment by credit card link– both specific to this Windsor County food drive. ALL proceeds from this weeklong campaign will be disbursed to 12 Windsor County food pantries. The combined service areas of these 12 food shelves, provide access to needed food for residents of ALL 24 towns of Windsor County. Food pantries especially appreciate financial assistance, as it allows them to identify, purchase and provide needed items at times in a year when they may be short of resources or donations.
The Town of Springfield Democratic Committee is also running a food drive Saturday December 13th, 9am to 3pm at Shaw’s Supermarket in Springfield, VT. Their on-site collections will benefit the Springfield Family Center food shelf. If you are nearby to Springfield, please consider dropping off canned goods, nonperishable items and other essentials at this location.
